Patient Safety
NINA includes built-in emergency detection across every stage of a patient conversation. If a patient describes symptoms that may indicate a clinical emergency at any point, NINA immediately prompts them to call 999 or 111.
Sessions involving an emergency are securely locked once the patient has been directed to the appropriate service. If a keyword is acknowledged during a session, it is suppressed from repeating unnecessarily for the remainder of that conversation, ensuring escalation only occurs for genuinely urgent situations.
