How to Reset Your Dashboard Password
If you have forgotten your dashboard password or need to set a new one, this article explains how to reset it. The process takes under two minutes and is handled entirely via your registered email address.
Purpose of This Article
This article helps any dashboard user who has forgotten their password or needs to update it. It covers the self-service reset process and what to do if the reset email does not arrive.
Main Content
Before You Reset
Your dashboard username is your registered email address. Your password was shared by QuantumLoopAI when your account was first set up — it would have arrived in a separate email with the subject: Dashboard Access Credentials.
If you have your original password and can log in, but simply want to change it, [NEEDS VERIFICATION — please confirm whether there is a change password option within the dashboard for logged-in users].
If you cannot log in because you have forgotten your password, use the self-service reset process below.
Important: 2FA Still Applies After a Reset
Since March 2026, all dashboard logins require Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). After resetting your password and logging in with your new password, you will still be asked to enter a verification code sent to your registered email address. This is normal and expected.
See: How Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Works (article 4.2) for more detail.
Step-by-Step Instructions
To reset your password:
- Go to the dashboard login page at https://quantumloopai.com/ql-dashboard
- Click the Forgot password link below the login fields.
- Enter your registered email address when prompted.
- Click Send reset link (or equivalent button).
- Check your inbox for a password reset email from QuantumLoop AI. This should arrive within a few minutes.
- Click the reset link in the email.
- Enter and confirm your new password on the page that opens.
- Save your new password.
- Return to the login page and log in using your email address and new password.
- Complete the 2FA step by entering the verification code sent to your email.
If the reset email does not arrive:
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Confirm you entered the correct email address — it must be the address registered to your dashboard account.
- Wait up to five minutes and check again.
- If the email has still not arrived, contact support@quantumloopai.com with your name, surgery name, and the email address you used.
Troubleshooting
I clicked the reset link but it says it has expired. Password reset links expire after a short period for security reasons. Return to the login page, click Forgot password again, and request a new reset link. Use the new link promptly.
I reset my password but still cannot log in. Confirm you are using your new password and not your old one. Check that Caps Lock is not on. If the problem continues, request another password reset or contact support@quantumloopai.com.
I do not know which email address is registered to my account. Your registered email is the address QuantumLoopAI used to send you your original dashboard credentials. Check your inbox for the original Dashboard Access Credentials email. If you cannot find it, contact support@quantumloopai.com with your name and surgery name and they can confirm your registered address.
I reset my password successfully but I am not receiving the 2FA code. The 2FA verification code is sent to your registered email after you enter your password correctly. Check your spam or junk folder. If it is not there, see: I Am Not Receiving the 2FA Verification Code (article 3.10).
I do not have access to my registered email address. If you no longer have access to the email address registered to your account, contact support@quantumloopai.com. They will need to verify your identity before updating your registered email address.
A colleague has left and we need to update their account. Do not use the password reset process to take over a former colleague's account. Instead, contact support@quantumloopai.com to have the account updated or removed, and set up a new account if needed. See: How to Add or Remove Dashboard Users (article 4.3).

Do I need to tell anyone at QuantumLoop AI that I have reset my password? No. Password resets are self-service and do not require any action or notification to the support team.
My password reset worked but I am still being asked for a verification code. This is normal. The 2FA verification code is required on every login, including after a password reset. Enter the code sent to your registered email to complete the login process.
