How to Read These Release Notes
Each update includes a brief description of what changed and what it means for your practice. The Action Required column tells you whether anything is needed from your team.
EMMA — Multilingual Support
Multilingual functionality goes live for EMMA Released: 30 January 2026
Multilingual support launched for EMMA, enabling patients to interact in their preferred language during inbound calls. EMMA automatically detects the language a patient is speaking and continues the conversation accordingly, with no action needed from the patient or your team.
Languages supported at launch include: English, Arabic, Bengali, French, German, Gujarati, Hindi, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Somali, Spanish, Tamil, Turkish, and Urdu.
Submissions from non-English calls arrive in your consultation inbox with both the original transcription and an English translation. Emergency detection operates across all supported languages.
Action required: None. Multilingual support is enabled automatically for all practices.
See: How EMMA Handles Calls in Other Languages (article 2.7).
NINA
NINA enquiry insights enhancement Released: 21 January 2026
NINA enquiries are now tracked and reported separately in the QuantumLoopAI dashboard. Previously, NINA interactions were not identified separately, making it difficult to understand NINA's usage and impact. The update provides clearer visibility into how NINA is being used, with NINA enquiries clearly identified within the Patient Journey overview. All existing reports remain unchanged.
Action required: None. The update is live and fully operational.
MARIA — Outbound Campaigns (Beta)
MARIA outbound campaigns beta launch Released: 1 October 2025, with ongoing beta development through January 2026
MARIA, QuantumLoopAI's AI-powered outbound calling tool, entered a controlled beta pilot. MARIA enables practices to create and run automated outbound patient campaigns from the dashboard — covering appointment reminders, health reviews, and routine care outreach.
Beta features include a Campaign Configuration Wizard for step-by-step setup, a centralised campaign dashboard with real-time tracking, patient-level call outcome tracking, and a full audit trail. Campaign creation is restricted to Admin users during the beta phase.
Action required: MARIA is available to beta pilot practices only. Contact support@quantumloopai.com if your practice is interested in joining the beta programme.

Platform and Infrastructure
Platform stability and performance improvements Throughout January 2026
A series of behind-the-scenes improvements were made to platform stability, infrastructure reliability, and system performance. These included optimisations to how enquiry data is processed and retrieved, improvements to real-time update delivery, and enhancements to how the system handles high call volumes. No downtime or visible changes to workflows.
Action required: None.
Onboarding enhancements Throughout January 2026
Improvements were made to the surgery onboarding process, including streamlined configuration management for new surgeries, enhanced welcome recording provisioning, improved phone system integration, and more consistent default settings deployment. These changes reduce setup time for new practices and improve configuration consistency.
Action required: None. Applies to newly onboarding practices.
