MARIA is QuantumLoopAI's AI-powered outbound calling tool. It allows your practice admin team to run automated outbound campaigns to reach patients at scale — for appointment reminders, health reviews, and routine care outreach. MARIA is currently in beta pilot.

What Is MARIA?

MARIA is QuantumLoopAI's AI-powered outbound calling tool. Where EMMA handles inbound calls from patients, MARIA makes outbound calls to patients on behalf of your practice.

MARIA allows your admin team to create and run automated outbound patient campaigns from the QuantumLoopAI dashboard. Instead of reception staff working through a manual call list, MARIA contacts patients automatically, at scale, and tracks every outcome.

MARIA is currently in a controlled beta pilot. It is available to beta pilot practices only.


What MARIA Can Be Used For

MARIA is designed for proactive patient outreach. Common use cases include:

  • Appointment reminders
  • Health review invitations
  • Routine care outreach
  • Follow-up calls for patients who need to be contacted

MARIA reduces the manual calling workload on your reception and admin teams, allowing them to focus on higher-priority work while routine outreach is handled automatically.


How MARIA Works

MARIA campaigns are created and managed entirely from the QuantumLoopAI dashboard. The process involves four stages:

1. Campaign creation An Admin user creates a campaign using the Campaign Configuration Wizard — a guided, step-by-step setup process. The wizard walks through all required configuration options, minimising the risk of errors. Campaign creation is restricted to Admin users only.

2. Campaign launch Once configured, the campaign is launched directly from the dashboard. MARIA begins making outbound calls to the patients on the campaign list.

3. Real-time monitoring The centralised campaign dashboard gives your team a live view of all active and completed campaigns. You can see campaign progress, track status, and stop a campaign at any time if needed.

4. Patient-level tracking Every outbound call is tracked at the individual patient level. Call outcomes are recorded — Completed, Failed, No Answer, and others — providing a full audit trail for compliance and governance.


Access and Permissions

Campaign creation and management is restricted to Admin users only. Standard users cannot create or manage campaigns.

This restriction is intentional during the beta phase to ensure controlled and safe deployment. If you need access to create campaigns and do not have Admin permissions, contact your practice manager or an existing Admin user. See: Understanding User Roles and Permissions (article 4.4).


Beta Pilot — What This Means for Your Practice

MARIA is currently in a controlled beta pilot. This means:

  • The feature is available to beta pilot practices only
  • QuantumLoopAI monitors performance, engagement rates, and call outcomes closely during this phase
  • Feedback from beta practices directly shapes future development
  • Some features planned for the full release — such as enhanced campaign templates, additional call outcome options, and expanded analytics — are not yet available

Troubleshooting

MARIA does not appear in our dashboard. MARIA is available to beta pilot practices only. If your practice is not in the beta programme, MARIA will not be visible in your dashboard. Contact support@quantumloopai.com to find out how to join.

I can see MARIA in the dashboard but cannot create a campaign. Campaign creation is restricted to Admin users. If you are not an Admin user, ask your practice manager or an existing Admin user to create the campaign, or contact support@quantumloopai.com to discuss your access level.

A campaign I launched is not making calls. Check the campaign status in the dashboard. If the campaign appears active but no calls are being made, contact support@quantumloopai.com with your campaign details and the team will investigate.

I need to stop a campaign that is currently running. Log in to the dashboard, navigate to the campaign dashboard, and use the stop or pause option for the active campaign. Campaigns can be stopped at any time.


FAQs

Is MARIA available to all QuantumLoopAI practices? Not yet. MARIA is currently in beta pilot and is only available to practices that have been enrolled in the beta programme. Contact support@quantumloopai.com if you are interested in joining.

Does MARIA work separately from EMMA? MARIA and EMMA are both part of the QuantumLoopAI platform but serve different purposes. EMMA handles inbound patient calls. MARIA makes outbound calls to patients on behalf of your practice. Both are managed from the same dashboard.

Can any staff member create a MARIA campaign? No. Campaign creation is restricted to Admin users only. This applies during the beta phase to ensure controlled deployment.

What call outcomes does MARIA track? MARIA tracks individual call outcomes at patient level, including Completed, Failed, No Answer, and others. A full audit trail is maintained for compliance and governance purposes.
